8:41 pm	tales from a lost kitty It's been over a year and a lot has happened in that time.  Arthur is now 5 and very active and very noisy!  He is a good 45+ inches tall and growing every minute. I know I'm not ready for him to start school this year, and I'm not sure he is ready either.  Victoria is getting ready for her second year of college and can't wait for it to start.  She started working for Disney this Summer and plans to stay on part time during the Fall.  I myself was diagnosed with a seizure disorder this past Feb which has thrown my life up in the air and made things a little complicated.  I can no longer drive, so have been having to rely on my dad for rides to and from work.  I ended up having to change jobs at Disney due to the flashes from the cameras, so am no longer working with the characters where I've been having fun for the last 3 years.  Having to transfer sucked, however, I am enjoying my new position in Vacation Planners, now that my brain is working again after training.   Its been a tough road, but with the support of friends and family we have made it though and will continue to do so.  I've had the chance to talk to an old friend over the past few months and feel this has brought us closer together, though I know with my past trust will not be easily gained.... 8:05 pm	Yes, I still live..... Life has been so hectic lately I haven't had the chance to write anything here let alone want to write anything.   Gus Gus just turned 4 on Sunday! He is growing up fast but still cute as can be.  The Princess is getting ready to graduate this spring and will be starting college in the Fall.  She is wanting to study Music, History, and Education with a goal to teach both music and history.  My parents bought her a violin for Christmas and she has managed to teach herself how to play bringing her instruments played up to 6.  She has excelled in her history classes, especially those surrounding the Revolutionary and Civil War eras (her 2 favorite subjects). As for me, I am still working for the Mouse and having fun.  I have made several friends at work and we try to go out at least once a month for sanity purposes.  It seems that though entertainment is fun there is also a lot of stress involved.  Thanks to them I haven't been able to sink back into my depression though there have been some close calls these past few months.  I truly think my time away from the computer has been helpful. I've missed talking to friends but its been good to be away..... I am off to be a mommy now hopefully will be back sooner than this last time! *HUGS* (Comment on this)

6:18 pm	Random Thoughts.... Since I had some time on my hand, I thought I'd spend some time updating my journal. The Princess is now 17 (WOW) and still being home schooled. She passed the FCAT this past Spring with flying colors, but has chosen to go ahead and study for the GED this year since she will have to take it for her diploma anyway. Her music is improving as well. She has plans to attend school as a music/history major with dreams of teaching music and giving talks on the Revolutionary and Civil Wars. Gus Gus is now 2 1/2 and talking up a storm. He is a very intelligent young man and never ceases to amaze me. He already has 2 girlfriends who treat him like a little prince, and is quite the little charmer. As for myself, I am still enjoying my position and am looking forward to working through the holiday season. I have made several wonderful friends at work, and have become quite close with a few. It's nice to have someone here that is close and I can talk to. I miss my friends from Washington though and hope some day to come for a visit. In other news I received an email from a friend I haven't seen since high school. It is nice to rebuild those old friendships that I was sad to have lost when I moved to Seattle. 7:43 am	Busy, Busy, Busy Hey, have I been having FUN of WORKING?!?!?! I've been extremely busy with work, so haven't had time to update. The good thing, I'm having SO MUCH FUN and meeting so many wonderful people. However, between being a mommy and working I've had little time to keep up with friends. So, I just wanted you to know that I haven't stopped thinking of you, just haven't had the time to chat with any of you. Anyway, gotta run....need a little more sleep. 12:29 pm	Life is SOOOOO GOOD!!!! Hey everyone, I GOT THE JOB!!!! I started training Saturday and have pretty much been in training all week. I am having a TON of fun and getting paid for it!!!!! I'm happy, I'm hyper, and loving life right now! 8:20 pm	HAPPY THOUGHTS!!!!! I have a job interview on Thursday at 1pm! I will not say where so I can keep my proffessional life seperate from what little social life I have. 7:56 pm	*SCREAM* Ok, LIFE SUCKS!!!!! I was going to happily announce that I have a job interview on Thursday and request prayers and luck. That was before I got to the update page! It seems my grandmother is stealing things to hold ransom for 2 pieces of glass from her tables. Now, if it weren't for the fact that said glass was BROKEN, it might make some sense. Then, my uncle who thinks he knows everything says I need to get off my ass and get a job to support my family and stop living off my grandmother (this from the guy who makes over $100,000 working for the state of NY and has to borrow $$ from her to pay bills). This is an entertaining thought seeing as my grandmother tried to pay me off for calling me several names with a whole $5 for my birhtday. He says we should just leave her alone and go on with our lives, takes a breath and says she shouldn't be left alone because of her age and health. ANYWAY!!! I'm out of here, life is getting too crazy for me..... (Comment on this)

6:22 pm	Still Alive Just so everyone knows, we are still alive. I have been having a few family problems lately so haven't been able to connect as of late. I am hoping that things will be calming down in the near future so I can get back to what little normal life I had. For those who don't know, my grandmother has been getting more and more violent in the past few months. This isn't good when I am trying to be polite and allow her to spend time with GUS GUS. Yesterday she yelled at me (not to mention called me a few choice words) in front of him, so we are now trying to keep her away from him as much as possible. 3:08 am	Insect Bites... Well, I got bitten by an un-known insect the other day and are dealing with some interesting side effects (one of them being not sleeping well). The welt around the bite got to the diameter of around 6", which made my arm a tad bit sore and very itchy. Luckily, with some benadryl and some anti-itch cream, the swelling has gone down considerably as well as leaving little itch behind. I'm just glad we caught it when we did, I don't want another scar on my arm from another cut. For those who don't know, I had surgery on my right arm when I was very young (and still have the scar) to have an infection literally cut out. Current Mood: irritated (Comment on this)

2:50 am	WE LIVE!!!! This Summer has been kind of hectic, so I haven't been able to get near a computer much... Let's see....we left the state of Florida around July 10th, came back down for a quick Dr appointment for GusGus on July 20, rushed up to NY for dad's family reunion (spent a week with a bunch of people I haven't seen since 1986), went down to Kentucky for my mom's family reunion (spent a day with people I haven't seen at all), mom and dad rushed down to get my grandma and brought her up for that one, drove my grandma back down to her home in FL (got her home just in time for her to get evacuated because of Charlie)...we had just entered Tennessee when we got the call to go back and get her!!!, drove up to Mass to spend time with my sister and her family (and avoided Ivan), went back through NY and back down to Kentucky visiting family along the way (they were upset we hadn't been by after the reunion)...*sigh*...spent more time in Kentucky with dad's family (and avoided Jeanne), arrived back in FL in time to arrive at WDW for the Princess' Sweet 16! We are now currently in Davenport, FL enjoying a relaxing time away from family (3 months is 2 months to much, I think). During our travels this Summer, we have spent time at several historic sights (Williamsberg, VA and Gettysberg, PA to name the most exciting) and had tons of fun. It has been stated everywhere we go, that GusGus is the cutest little boy around (and the most active). Of the 3 babies born between April 20 and May 8 of last year, GusGus is the most active (and the only one really WALKING)! Let's see...Evan (born April 20) had just started walking a few days before the reunion, but preffered to be carried, GusGus (two days younger) was running and keeping up with the older kids, and Josiah (May 8) wasn't even TRYING to walk (not to mention his shoes were too small). They weren't even trying to encourage him (of course, they do have a 3 year old as well as another on the way). I personally don't understand it, guess that's why it was my cousin who got the PhD and not me. Anyway, enough rambling for now....for those who care, I'm going to try and make it to Furloween....for those who don't, why are you reading this anyway? *hugs to everyone* A special thanks to the wonderful Dogz for finding his way in here to post for me. 2:39 pm	Well, I had an unexpected doctor visit for Li' Gus 2 days ago. Luckily, he is healthy as can be....however, he wasn't eating much (hence the visit) and hasn't gained weight in the last week. Thankfully, it's just a matter of having shots last week and not feeling 100% afterwords. He is now completely off the formula and drinking regular milk. He has managed to ween himself off anything baby, and would love to start potty training himself if I would just let him....time to get the potty chair for him! 2:05 pm	Hey all, Just wanted you to know that we are all alive. We had a lot of fun at WDW while my sister and her kids were visiting, as well as a wonderful time on Lil' Gus' first Birthday. This is the first chance I had to get oneline since we left, though I had planned to be on sooner. We are back staying at my Grandma's place for a week or so, them I'm not sure what we'll be doing. I got an email from my ex-boss wishing me a happy birthday (belatedly), and sending pictures of the new remodel that is happening where I worked. I never thought I'd see the day I shed another tear about that place, but today, I did. I miss working there. I miss the people I worked with. Shoot, I even miss dealing with the students and staff. I think I'm slowly going insane.... Anyway, I've been thinking a LOT about the future and where I see myself....If I don't get back on track, I don't know where I'll be.... 3:32 pm	For those of you in the Orlando area, I will be arriving down there on the evening of April 12 and leaving Monday April 26. Those in the know will notice that I will be in town for Lil' Gus 1st Birthday....send me an email and I'll give you details of where we will be on April 22. :) For eveyone else out there, we are doing well. I have decided to move on and shall we say grow up a bit.... The Princess is doing a very good job of teaching herself to play the clarinet, autoharp, and refreshing her skill on the cello. Lil' Gus is learning to walk, though I'm positive he would rather RUN! As for myself, I'm working on getting a job and a vehicle so I no longer have to depend on my parents. 1:18 am	Just so everyone knows, we are still alive!! I've been having fun with the kids at WDW for the past few weeks. The joys of having annual passes! :) We had a BLAST while my parents were out of town, and having more fun now that their back. :) I've had several WONDERFUL chats over the past week with my best friend.
